Deheb (Prononced «Day-Heb», means gold in arab), grew up in France. His love for music originated with his dad, who used to play Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson's records every saturday.

A few years later, he and his brother used to sneak out of their room to watch "Rapline", one of the first hip hop show on french TV. That's when he discovered some of the early rap videos, and he rapidly became a fan of Public Enemy and De La Soul.

Deheb started deejaying in 1997. In 2001 he issued his first mixtape “La chronique” (the chronic), on which he remixed some of the year's biggest rap tunes on his own beats. 2004 was the year of “Back to the Break” (with b-boy Bonz), a mix cd for b-boys and dj’s, with a soul-funk/old school rap tracklisting. Then, in 2005, came the french critically acclaimed “Lexxfiles”, a mix album with rapper Lexxcoop.

The french dj really switched to beatmaking around 2004, producing hip hop beats with a huge funky influence. In 2006, he produced “Top of the block pt.2” for Apani ft.Big Noyd. This first american collaboration was a big turn out in his career, and he's been working with US artists ever since.
He established himself working with mc’s like Apani, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Emilio Rojas or Dynas. Deheb also got recognised and encouraged by artists such as Pharoahe Monch or DJ Spinna. He still works as a dj, and he has opened for Jazzy Jeff and DJ Premier. 

In 2014 Deheb still works as a dj and beatmaker, producing funk and abstract hip hop as a part of the french duo "funky Bijou" and working on a new "brazilian EP" with the swiss beatmaker Chief from Feelin Music.

Beatmaker, musicien et Dj, l’artiste breton est connu dans le milieu du beatmaking pour ses collaborations outre-atlantique et pour son album sorti en 2015 avec le producteur suisse Chief. Il est surtout reconnu pour avoir produit des funky breaks désormais classiques dans le milieu du Breakdance mondial avec son compère Marrrtin sous le nom Funky Bijou, combo Rennais qui a produit des bandes sons pour tout les événements mondiaux Redbull BC one depuis 2011.
Artiste très prolifique, piochant dans le funk et le jazz une grosse partie de son inspiration, il est basé désormais à Nantes, et a sorti en 2017 et 2018, 2 Lps et 2 Eps sur ses 2 labels de coeur, le label suisse Feelin Music et le label Rennais Stereophonk. Il tourne actuellement en tant que DJ clavieriste au sein du groupe Rennais Groove Time Connection et aussi avec son compère J-zen pour leur duo House hip hop.
